Show God's Love Early
Piedmont’s Family Life Ministry is designed to guide your child through what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and what it looks like to live that relationship out every day.
Our Piedmont Kids are given a safe, educational and exciting environment tailored for children to learn about God. It’s here where your child’s hearts will be fueled physically and spiritually, while letting them grow their personal relationship with God on their own time. Let us guide your child of any age toward an extraordinary life during this pivotal time in their lives.
Tiny Treasures is Piedmont’s ministry that focuses
on expectant families and parents of newborns.
We help you connect to other families, enroll your new little one and schedule Baby Dedications.
Interested in learning more about baby dedications?
Your newborn or preschooler is invited to Piedmont’s Treasure Cove, where we’re anchored in faith, love and learning God’s word.
Let your 1st - 5th graders head on down to Piedmont’s Surf Town and walk in the footsteps of faith.
Join this unique, educational environment of developing extraordinary children who will set the pace for the future.
We have three check-in areas for guests with preschoolers or elementary-aged children. You will find them located in the Worship Center and the Children’s building. Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out an information card on your family, so we can place each child in an age-appropriate class and be made aware of allergies or medical needs.
After filling out the card, each child will be given a name tag with a security number printed on it. A copy of the number will be given to the adult bringing the child in order to pick up. We will escort you to your child’s classroom and back to the Worship Center. The security numbers are matched at the end of the session for pick up, for the safety of each child.
*It is helpful if you label your child’s belongings and bring basic need items for infants and toddlers.
Bottle, pacifier, diapers, wipes, change of clothes and label all belongings.
We will text you, put your security number on the screen or come find you.
We prefer that children be placed by age. It is best to start them off in the correct classroom rather than separate them later and not understand why they can’t remain together. Some classes are combined depending on the curriculum.
No, we are sensitive to food allergies and do not want to expose kids to allergens when we are only present a short while.

We have a booklet for your child to reinforce their decision and to help you guide your child. We can help you answer questions and help prepare your child if they have reservations about the baptism process.
We have children’s communion on the Sundays that the adults observe the ordinance of communion.
The website is a good start. Secondly, make sure the church has your email so they can include you in the weekly information.
We have Wednesday night sessions that include music, games, art, woodworking, exercise and more. We have VBS in the summer and Family Fun Days with movies, putt-putt, skating, and more. We also have a 4-5th grade retreat each spring.
Piedmont Kids Volunteer Form
We encourage the church family to share in serving in the different areas of the church. Preschool and children’s ministry have many opportunities to get involved and to serve. Because we love our kids, all volunteers are required to attend a training class and complete a background screening before serving. Once this is complete, we will contact you and discuss the areas you are passionate to serve in.
