Jake was born and raised in southern California and grew up in a captivating student ministry environment where Christ-centered discipleship and genuine fellowship had a profound impact on him. At the age of 17, Jake began serving in junior high ministry and shortly thereafter, was called by God to pursue full-time student ministry. He graduated from Hope International University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry, and also has a master’s degree in Christian Leadership from Wesley Seminary. In 2020, God called him to Georgia, where he served as a Student Ministry Resident at 12Stone Church. It was here where the Lord reminded him of his unique passion for middle school ministry.
Jake’s mission is to help bridge the gap between elementary and middle schoolers, while guiding them in their walk with Christ. His heart is to create a friendly atmosphere here at Piedmont, so that middle schoolers to encounter the transformative hope that only the gospel of Jesus Christ can provide.
