Pray for a Willingness to Sacrifice
So I have provided for the house of my God, so far as I was able, the gold for the things of gold, the silver for the things of silver, and the bronze for the things of bronze, the iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, besides great quantities of onyx and stones for setting, antimony, colored stones, all sorts of precious stones and marble.
1 Chronicles 29:2
Through Jesus let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of our lips which openly profess His name. Let us not forget God’s desire for our lives is to do good and share with others. We know these sacrifices please God. Through the Beyond Limits initiative, the people of Piedmont Church will have the opportunity to sacrifice and do good for the next generation of students and children.
Take a moment right now to pray about what sacrifice means for you and your family. We agree with King David who said he would not “offer burnt offerings which costs me nothing.” May what costs us something today bless others for generations to come. May what costs us something today please God
