Pray for the Children and Youth of Piedmont Church
And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me many sons) he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. 6 He said to me, ‘It is Solomon your son who shall build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
1 Chronicles 28:5
Lord, bless our children and give them hearts to follow after You. Let them honor authority and obey their parents in the Lord. Water the seeds planted deep in their souls by the volunteers at Piedmont Church. Give them courage to stand for you as they grow older. Give them hearts and minds to remain faithful to You all the days of their life. Protect them from the enemy who wants to snatch them away. Make them young people of character and give them the grace to do what is right when no one is watching.
May they become young people who pray bold prayers. May the children and youth of Piedmont Church become known as people who love You deeply and love others with kindness and compassion. Let them always be reminded their lives matter and You are going to do great things through them. May Piedmont’s young people walk after You, fear You, keep Your commandments, obey Your voice, and hold fast to You.
Finally, may You bless our young people and keep them. May Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them. May You turn Your face towards them and give them peace. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
