Tuesday, March 10 Pray for Piedmont Church Then King David rose to his feet and said: “Hear me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord and for the footstool of our God, and I made preparations for building. 1 Chronicles 28:2 May we always be in prayer for Piedmont Church and its people. We ask God that they be filled with the knowledge of His will for their lives. May they have wisdom and understanding. Pray for our … [Read more...]

Beyond Limits | Family Prayer Guide | Day 1
Sunday, March 8th Pray for our Pastor, Ike Reighard “David” 1 Chronicles 28:1 1 Chronicles 28 and 29 are two of the most pivotal chapters in all the Bible. King David, the iconic leader of the Jewish people, passes away at the end of chapter 29. Prior to his death, he transitions the throne of leadership to his son Solomon. He also, in essence, conducts a capital campaign for the glory of God for what would later become known as Solomon’s Temple. Everything rises and falls on leadership. … [Read more...]

Wonder
When you hear the word “Wonder,” what does it make you think about? Wonder defined means: unfamiliar, or inexplicable. Wonder makes me think about the first time a kid goes to the zoo and sees their favorite animal, the first time a little boy or girl goes to Disney World and meets Mickey Mouse, or the first time a Bible story truly connects and a child “gets it.” You can see Wonder in someone’s eyes. You see it in their reaction to something they have never seen or experienced before. It is … [Read more...]

Community Ministry Update
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10 (NIV) I have to be honest with you that I struggled out of the starting blocks this year. I was still recovering from snowmeggedon that wiped out Christmas At Piedmont. It was so heartbreaking because the church and so many had put so much into making that event so special for so many. We had set a record on sponsorships as well as the number of … [Read more...]
The Storms of Life
Storms are just a part of life. I have heard it said that you are either in one, coming out of one, or about to be in one. The question is when you find yourself in the storms of life what do you do? How do you get through it? There are different reasons we find ourselves in storms. Some storms are from bad decisions or choices we have made in life. Some are because we face a real enemy in this life whom is always looking to steal, kill, and destroy. Other storms are just because we live in a … [Read more...]
#FORFAMILIES
What may just seem like a small hashtag has so much meaning to us here in Piedmont Kids. We want to do ministry not just for kids, but for their whole family. Our goal is to partner alongside parents and give them the tools they need to disciple their children at home. We get their kids on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, but we know that so much of life happens outside of that. Our goal is for parents to have the resources they need to continue the conversations at home and every day … [Read more...]
Winter Weather
Hello precious family and friends! Scripture teaches us that there are ‘treasures in the snow’ and we have certainly experienced that in our area over the last 24 hours. The beauty and splendor is amazing and it gets us all in the right mood for Christmas and holiday celebrations. On the downside, unfortunately, we had to cancel Christmas at Piedmont – which already had record participation planned with over 35 schools scheduled to join us. Although the event had to be cancelled, I want to … [Read more...]
