Who We Are

Piedmont Students is a youth ministry that is passionate about creating opportunities for students to encounter Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is that students from all corners of our community would come to have an authentic relationship with Jesus, lived out daily with others in Christian community. As youth leaders, we believe our role is to equip the saints (parents) for the work of ministry, because we believe parents will always be the main sources of influence in their student’s life. Therefore, we prioritize equipping parents to build disciples while our role is to facilitate and come alongside students with grace, truth and of course…lots of fun! At Piedmont Students, we want each middle schooler and high schooler to feel Known and Loved. Our mission is to show God’s love in such a way that students would exchange ordinary living for an extraordinary life through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Mid-week

6:30pm in the Chapel

Mid-Week is our Wednesday night gathering filled with worship, games, biblical teaching, and small group time. It’s an environment specifically for middle and high school students to come and belong in healthy Christian community. Students are encouraged to show up early and hang out with small group leaders at the basketball court, on the green space or inside the gaming area within the chapel. Our aim for Mid-Week is to create a space for students to have an authentic encounter with Jesus first and foremost, and to water the seeds that are being planted in their life. Through encountering Jesus, we believe it sets the pace and determines the transformation and growth made possible in all other relationships students might have with their family and friends.

Sunday Mornings

9:30am in the Commons

Small Groups happen on Sunday mornings. Small groups create a place for students to dig deeper into the word of God and build a biblical worldview. Students are separated by age and gender for a more interactive experience while studying God’s word. On Sunday mornings after small group time, students are encouraged to attend the 11:00AM worship service in the Worship Center with their families and/or friends.
