Northeast Cobb Egg Drop

Bring the whole family out for the 10th Annual Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop presented by Piedmont Church, Superior Plumbing and C&S Paving. Get ready as more than 90,000 eggs and pieces of candy are spread out and dropped from a helicopter at the football field at Sprayberry High School April 20, 2019!

The funds raised from the Egg Drop go to support both the Shop with a Yellow Jacket and the Shop with a Longhorn programs for Sprayberry and Kell High Schools.  Last year more than $17,000.00 went right back in to the community from the event.

The Egg Hunts will get started around the football field at 11:30 a.m., as children ages three and under will begin their egg hunt. At 1:30 p.m., a helicopter will fly over and drop thousands of eggs with the four to seven-year olds to hunt to follow.  At 2:00 p.m., C&S Paving will be sponsoring the special needs egg hunt and at, 3:30 p.m., the children eight to 10, will begin the final hunt. Toddler hunts for the small children will be held at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., in the food court area sponsored by Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.

An estimated 18,000 people attended the event last year and weather permitting the crowds are expected to exceed 2018 totals.
