Show God's Love Early
Piedmont’s Family Life Ministry is designed to guide your child through what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and what it looks like to live that relationship out every day. Piedmont Kids partners with parents and families to equip them in family discipleship and growing kids who love God first, love others in unique ways, and choose to follow God daily. #FORFAMILIES
It is here where your child will learn our three core values:
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Sprouts is Piedmont Kids JR's ministry that focuses
on expectant moms and parents of newborns.
We help you connect to other families through muffins with moms, enroll your new little one, and schedule Baby Dedications.
Piedmont Kids JR.
Your newborn through preschoolers are invited to Piedmont Kids Jr.'s Treasure Cove, where they will learn all about God's love for them, by teaching the truth of who God is and who He has created them to be.
Your K-5th graders are invited to Piedmont Kids Surf Town, where they will learn all about God's love in a fun and exciting way, by diving deep into the Word of God and learning practical day to day lessons that will impact them in their faith journey for years to come.
Join this unique, educational environment of developing extraordinary children who will set the pace for the future.
We have three check-in areas for guests with preschoolers or elementary-aged children. You will find them located in the Worship Center and the Children’s building. Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out an information card on your family, so we can place each child in an age-appropriate class and be made aware of allergies or medical needs.
After filling out the card, each child will be given a name tag with a security number printed on it. A copy of the number will be given to the adult bringing the child in order to pick up. We will escort you to your child’s classroom and back to the Worship Center. The security numbers are matched at the end of the session for pick up, for the safety of each child.
*It is helpful if you label your child’s belongings and bring basic need items for infants and toddlers.
Bottle, pacifier, diapers, wipes, change of clothes and label all belongings.
We will text you, put your security number on the screen or come find you.
We prefer that children be placed by age. It is best to start them off in the correct classroom rather than separate them later and not understand why they can’t remain together. Some classes are combined depending on the curriculum.
Yes! Snack is provided for Toddlers - 4yr olds. As you check your child in, you will see a sign that communicates what our snack is for that day. If your child has an allergy, it will be located on their name tag, and you are more than welcome to inform their small group leader as well. We have allergy options each week.

We have a booklet for your child to reinforce their decision and to help you guide your child. We can help you answer questions and help prepare your child if they have reservations about the baptism process.
We have children’s communion on the Sundays that the adults observe the ordinance of communion.
The website is a good start. Secondly, make sure the church has your email so they can include you in the weekly information.
Yes! We have Wednesday night programming for 2 yr olds - 5th grade and we also have summer events. Be sure and watch our church calendar for family events throughout the year.
Piedmont Kids Volunteer Form
We encourage the church family to share in serving in the different areas of the church. Preschool and children’s ministry have many opportunities to get involved and to serve. Because we love our kids, all volunteers are required to attend a training class and complete a background screening before serving. Once this is complete, we will contact you and discuss the areas you are passionate to serve in.
